Suggested 2019 timeline to discuss on your call:
11/14 - Email 1 & Mail postcard 11/18-11/20 - Make calls to invite, send confirmation text or notecards to remind of their pickup date 11/25- Email 2 11/26 &/or 11/27- Pie pickup, Attach Stickers or cards to the pie boxes and distribute at in-office event. 11/28- Send Thanksgiving Email- Date from the Heart Bonus -DOWNLOAD HERE 11/29 - Follow-up Email 3 11/29- ? Continue to follow-up with calls
Step 3
Decide on how many pies you want to send. Start with your top 150. Not everyone will RSVP so keep that in mind. Contact the bakery you plan to use and confirm that they can accommodate the approximate number of pies that you will need on the day of the pie pickup. (Tues and/or Wed before Thanksgiving) You should cut off the RSVP the Friday before Thanksgiving week so that the bakery can get the final count and have it ready for you on the day you choose to pick them up.
Step 4
2 weeks before pie pickup day send your postcard & email #1. Optional Phone Script and Notecard text are listed below as well. Remember, this is a great reason to reach out and open up the conversation.
Post Card Download: Click this link to download a Word file of the postcard. Just update the sections in red to show the correct phone number/address/date and time. You'll want to send this postcard out the same day you send Email #1.

Simply reply now and I’ll place your order. You can pick up your pie at my office (enter address) on (Place day here- Tuesday or Wed before Thanksgiving) between 1pm and 4pm.

After they confirm their pie choice:

Step 6
Day Before Pie Pickup:
Email 2 Subject - What time do you think you’ll pick up your pie?
(Client first name), I’m so excited to give you your Thanksgiving Day Pie.
You can pick up your free pie at my office - (enter address and any directions here) - on Wednesday, Nov. 24th between 1pm and 4pm.
So I can be ready for you when you arrive, what time do you think you’ll swing by and pick up your pie?

Step 7
Day of Pie Pickup: (Most people pick up the pies from the bakery on the morning of client pie pickup so they don’t have to refrigerate them.)
Apply Pie Box Cards to Pie Boxes ahead of client pickup:
You can either tape or glue it, or print it onto Sticker paper. Make sure to put a card on each pie box for maximum effect. Below is a sample of the card.
Step 8
Follow-up the Day after Thanksgiving:
Email 3: Send in the am Day After Thanksgiving In the body of this email, you'll also see an "insert link" in red. This link should be your link to your Yelp page. If your client has already given you a Yelp review just change this email to a Thank you acknowledgment email. Subject - How was your pie? (Their first name), I really hope you enjoyed your holiday with family and friends. Because so many people have asked us how they can tell people about me I’ve set up an on-line YELP Review Page. This makes it easy and fun for you to tell others about your experience working with me.
Would you please take a few minutes and go to (insert link) and tell your story. Because experience shows that 25% of all the people who are looking for a (Lender/Real Estate Agent) they can trust will seek out an online review.
