Decide on how many pies you want to send. Start with your top 150. Not everyone will RSVP so keep that in mind. Contact the local bakery* that you would to promote and support and confirm that they can accommodate the approximate number of pies that you will need on the day of the pie pickup. (within the 2 days before Thanksgiving and in line with your delivery/pickup dates)
*this is a great opportunity to support a local mom and pop bakery in a year they need it most.
You should cut off the Pie RSVP a few days before your bakery pick-up date so that the bakery can get the final count (or ask them what their cutoff date is and adjust the last email accordingly).
2 weeks before pie pickup/delivery day send your postcard & email #1. Optional Phone Script and Notecard text are listed below as well. Remember, this is a great reason to reach out and open up the conversation.
Postcard Download: Click links below to download a Word or PDF file of the postcard. Just update the sections in red to show the correct phone number/address/date and time. You'll want to send this postcard out the same day you send Email #1.

(Their first name),
I really hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving holiday. Because so many people have asked us how they can tell people about me I’ve set up an on-line YELP Review Page. This makes it easy and fun for you to tell others about your experience working with me.
Would you please take a few minutes and go to (insert link) and tell your story. Because experience shows that 25% of all the people who are looking for a (Lender/Real Estate Agent) they can trust will seek out an online review.
When you write your review it helps me let others know about the quality of service I will provide them. Your YELP review makes a big difference to me.
Thank you!

"I’ve done the Thanksgiving Pie campaign for the last several years and used a local mom & pop bakery to order my pies. That mom and pop business alone has sent me 4 closed transactions. In terms of marketing dollars, I don’t think there is any better time and money spent.”
- An Marshall, St. Augustine, FL
“Update on the pumpkin pie deliveries: I ordered 50. Delivered 40... One definite listing in February or March. One buyer….. 3 future appointments to help tell them with what they need to do to list/sell their house... 20 Promises to Call me when they know someone that needs to buy or sell. All from my Sphere of Influence list. I think that what I spent on the pies and the time spent in personally reconnecting during delivery will have a very good ROI.”
- Rodger Lecy, Fayetteville, AR
“This is how we show people that it’s special here at Cardano Real Estate Experts. Having these pies going home with our clients gives them an opportunity to introduce us to the people that they know who want a first-class real estate consulting experience. The reason we continue this tradition every year is due to the introductions that our clients give to us.”
- Diane Cardano, Abington, PA
